A term Republicans and the religious right use to describe judges who make rulings based on the Constitution rather than the Bible or the Republican party platform

Free speech applies to everyone not just conservatives.
Freedom of religion applies to everyone not just Christians.
The "Equal Protection" clause of the 14th amendment applies to everyone not just white male heterosexual Christians. When courts make rulings acknowledging these simple truths Republicans call them activist judges.

Any judge who interprets the law in a way that recognizes and guarantees someone else constitutional or legal rights in a manner of which you don't approve.

An "activist judge" is a judge who petulantly refuses make everyone else live under the rules of -your- religion.

How dare those Activist Judges suggest that homosexuals are people, too!?! The constitution clearly says that it protects all people -except- people who are different from me... Wait a second. Where's my pencil...?

The constitution says "No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws." Note that it doesn't say "heterosexual, white, christian person". There are no 'activist judges'.

An Urbandictionary editor who rejects a perfectly true and clever definition and forces someone like me to have to re-submit it over and over again, just because they don't agree with the opinion expressed in the definition.

At least 5 of my valid and correct definitions have been rejected by activist judges on Urbandictionary, a website where more than half the definitions are about ex-girlfriends, rival high schools, or made-up sex slang.
