Army
The largest and arguably the most powerful ground-based unit in the US military + World.
Their operation is very wide-ranged - from basic infantry to specialized infantry to Armor, such as the 75th Ranger Regiment, the Green Berets, and the 1st Armor Division.

Asides from ground operations, the Army is also varied by their involvment with sea and air. The Army (aviation) has more aircraft, though mostly helicopters, than the Airforce; and the Army has more boat/ships than the navy. And hell, the Army has more ground forces than the Marines. This explains the outnumbering of casualties in iraq over the other branches - Army does a hell of a lot more in Iraq.

The Army also acts a school for many different branches of the military. Marines take part in airborne school, air assault, ranger school, armor center, and etc. Army, seen in iraq, are sometimes attached to Marine units for support. The US Army has been actively been training the newly assembled Iraqi Army.

We get deployed. And keeping the 7 army values in heart, I do my job in the most efficient manner. I engage in my tasks, with only one thing in mind - warrior ethos. I come back home, and I am reward from the sweet taste of freedom. HOOAH!

Paul R Smith, a soldier in the US Army, was awarded the Medal of Honor, the highest valor in the US which is approved by the president, for his incredible display of Army values in the War of Iraq.

Ex: I want to be an Army Airborne Ranger! HOOAH!

Person 1: Did you hear? Paul R Smith, knocked out a whole iraqi platoon by himself!!!
Person 2: Yea, an Army guy! He should be rewarded the Medal of Honor.

Soldier 1: Dude, true story man. This guy in the 101st airborne, he ran out of ammo, so he started to throw rocks at the insurgents. When the firing stopped, he realized that his shoulder had been shot.
Soldier 2: SHIT! Those 101st guys are insane.

Marine (Brother): You should have joined the marines, you sissy!
Soldier (Me): I'm a Ranger officer, bro. I trained for almost 3 years, which is helluva lot more than what you did. And supposedly my deployment is longer than yours. And hell, the insurgents aren't going to be easier on me b/c I'm wearing the green... so how does that make me a sissy?
Marine (Brother): ...

Army
a large fandom filled with mainly loving and king people who just want to support their fave artists. An army is a BTS fan and for the most part we are pretty chill. there is a THICK line between a sasaeng and a kpop fan. don't get us confused with each other.

random person: what's an army...?
Me, an army: *shows this to them*

Army
land based branch of the U.S. Military. an underpaid, over-worked, under equipped fighting force run by all-knowing U.S. Senators, the deceptive C.I.A., money hungry corporate giants and an oil thirsty nation

Army
The branch of the military that gets to take cell phones to boot camp and gets to eat as much as they want at the chow hall, even if they're fat fucks. BTW, the next person who says marines are stupid and are waiters after they get EAS'd just needs to go look at Fortune 500 companies and see the vast majority of CEO's who were former marines compared to former soldiers...Pretty ridiculous considering there are about 180,000 marines and over 2 million soldiers. Marines join the Corps because they want discipline, not to mention the Marine Corps' amazing combat track record. (Some also join because of the "pussy magnet" dress blues, but who can blame them? Unlimited free drinks and pussy at any bar, why not?)

Soldier 1:Hey specialist, why did you shoot that Marine?
Soldier 2:I am scared and undisciplined so I shot the first thing that I saw move.
Soldier 1:It's ok, you're in the army, let me hold your hand and make sure you get double dessert tonight at the chow hall.

1. A large body of people organized and trained for land warfare.
2. often Army The entire military land forces of a country.
3. A tactical and administrative military unit consisting of a headquarters, two or more corps, and auxiliary forces.

The U.S. Army is able to spell the word wash, which was obviously lost in the vocabulary of the marine core, which is evident in this.

"The clean-up crew after the Marines go and kill EVERYTHING!!!
After the initial invasion be the Marines, the Army came in to wach away the blood."

Army
In reference to the U.S. Army: A branch of the U.S. military that specializes in ground combat involving infantry and armor units, though does use marine vessels and various air-crafts. They also employ airborne troopers such as the 75th Rangers. Enlistment offers many benefits such as the G.I. Bill, various opportunities to learn important skills for careers, a sense of patriotic pride, etc. Despite the many disputes concerning which branch of the U.S. military is "better", one must realize that all branches are cogs in a machine, and without one, the others could function to their full potential... Except for the National Guard, fuck those pussies.

Me: So I've finally enlisted in the Army.

Friend A: Nice! I just joined the Air Force, so if you need a strafing run, just call.

Friend B: I got accepted into the Naval Academy.

Me: Damn man, good job. Now then, if only we had a friend in the Marine Corps. We would have every branch covered.

Friend A: What about the National Guard?

Me: What about those pussies?

All start laughing.

Army
A branch of the military that, judging by most of these definitions, apparently feels very threatened by the Marine Corps.

I didn't have the balls to join the Marines so I went army instead, and I'll spend the next 4 years of my life trying to convince people that the army is better.
