Morons. The kind of people that want to bring
new life something that hasn't even been around a long time (a hotel that has done well since it opened 20 years ago), though most structures they tend to call aging are not really old when you think of how long some buildings have been around (the Empire State Building, the
Colosseum in Rome,
the Pyramids come to mind).
The Developers would say or do anything to get what they wanted, a few more
dollar signs out of something. They would say something that had been around 10 years and
flourished was in need of new life or that they were going to magically transform it into something new and exciting, even though it wasn't needed, and a lot of people wouldn't have wanted anything new, they liked/loved it the way it was before it changed, before the developers fucked it up. Just like there were people that liked something until they called it a game
changer, and fucked up everyone's best efforts that they put towards it.
