Define Friday The 13th Meaning

A 1980's horror film about a woman, Pamela Voorhees, who saw her son drown at Camp Crystal Lake, and went crazy killing all of the counselors several years later for neglecting her son, then was decapited by the last surviving counselor.
In later sequels her 'dead' son returns weilding a burlap sack and any pointed object...and later a hockey mask and machette to kill anyone who returns to Camp Crystal Lake, or anyone at all for that matter, as revenge for killing his mother. Has 11 sequels, including a battle between him and Freddy Krueger of the 'Nightmare On Elm Street' series.

A day when everything fucks up and goes to totally opposite of what it usually does.

A time for hockey masked wearing pyschos to slaughter unsuspecting victims.

The number 13 has long been assocciated with unfortunate incidents. This stems from roman empire rule, and christianity. Pirates considered Friday to be the most unlucky day of the week. At least once a year the two coincide. This is said to be the most unlucky day of the year, but only if you happen to live in Crystal Lake, where Jason Vorhees may murder you.

The day, usually occuring once or twice a year, associated with bad luck. However, it is well known that doing a wake and bake causes one's fortunes to turn around.

1)n. A day that is said to be cursed. This day is said to be cursed because it is associated with the number 13, said to be unlucky. While any day that takes place on the 13th day of a month can be unlucky, Friday is chosen as the unlucky day because the superstistious people who believe in the nonsenical legend of Friday the 13th in the first place wanted so badly to screw up the second best day of the week.

This day, for some, can be like any other day, and for others might turn out better than other normal days. Any unlucky occurences that occur on this day are entirely coincidential.

2)n. A friday like any other, it just happens to fall on the 13th of the month.

3)n. The title of a film that is a reference to the above mentioned day and the bad luck it brings. This film was released in 1980 and is an early film in the slasher genre. In this film the mother of a boy who drowned while swimming at Camp Crystal Lake goes on a killing spree on her sons birthday, which falls on Friday the 13th

said to be an ''UNLUCKY'' day for many people.

The reason they say its unlucky is because in the middle ages there were theese ''templars'' which were bad for some countries good for most. the templars died a friday wich happened to be the 13th.

A very unlucky day, especially when it's march and the year is 2020.

It happens to be one of my favorite day of the year, i get so many nice visitors down here at the lake, but they all run off after i try to "explain my habits" that shall not be named. but its an overall good day.
