Applying a
temporary fix to something that has broken, or making something 'new' out of old broken parts. Common used 'parts' are
bungi cords, duct tape, scrap-metal,
electrical tape, super glue, ropes, old broken fans, motors, tire-rims, etc

rigged my computer-headset by
taping 2 'broken' headsets together. One had a working
mic. and the other had a working ear piece. I hope it lasts, I think I did a good job :)
