On a serious note, John Cale is a Welsh multi-instrumentalist and seminal member of 1960s avant-garde/
proto punk band, the Velvet Underground. He notably played viola, keyboard, and bass in the group. After being fired from the band in 1967, he
embarked on his journey as a music producer and as a solo-artist.
