Probably the best Catholic university in America. Unless all you care about is sex drugs and alcohol you will have more fun here than at any other college. Yes, there are elitist snobs here just like any other top 25 college. But most of the students are awesome, and the school spirit and community is extraordinary. The campus and food are among the best in the country. Notre Dame has a soul to it that almost every other college lacks.

Wow and you go to community college or something I'm guessing?...First of all, Notre Dame is an amazing school and we're the highest ranked Catholic school in the country. (Take that Gtown). Secondly, I know plenty of people currently attending ND who turned down schools like Harvard, Yale, Stanford, and Princeton.

Badmouth Notre Dame all you want but at the end of the day, you're just jealous because you didn't get in. Oh and if we're rich, attractive, intelligent, and damn proud of all of the above, we've got every right to be.

A university that does not 1) admit based on race; 2) whose football team did not participate in bowls for over 30 years, making "bowl appearances" comparisons idiotic; 3) has more consensus--that means that most experts agree and is the truest measure you can hope for--national titles than anyone, period. Michigan is not even close, and if you compare apples to apples (i.e. use Michigan's retarded method for counting titles), it is about 19 to 11 ND; 4)could not play against Michigan for roughly 70 years, during its dynasty years when it would have decimated Michigan 2 years out of 3, because of UMich's virulent anti-Catholic (yet adamantly pro-minority-at-all-costs) attitude.

The best school in the nation when it comes to academics, athletics,food, and faculty. More Heismen Trophy's and National Championships in football that anyone else. Best Graduation rate in country. Highest Fresh-Soph retention rate in Country.

A second-rate Catholic University in the middle of nowhere known for it's football team, not its academics. It is a school that is typically reserved for young Catholics who wanted to go to school in Boston, DC, or Philadelphia, but could not gain admission to Boston College, Georgetown, or Villanova.

A University in South Bend, Indiana with an economically, ethnically, and religiously diverse student body comprised of rich, white, and catholic assholes that think they are better than everyone else. They think their football program, which rarely makes a credible, if any, bowl game is the best and most storied in the nation. Their fans hate the University of Michigan, which is superior athletically and academically to notre dame. Michigan has more overall wins, a higher winning percentage, more all time bowl appearences, more national titles depending on who you ask, a winning record against ND and has produced two heisman winners since notre dame's last heisman winner. Michigan also wins in the intangibles, as the Michigan fight song, The Victors, is superior to the notre dame victory march, which, coincidentally after one of the many times Michigan destroyed notre dame. Michigan stadium is also superior to notre dame stadium, whose design was copied and scaled down from the former. HAIL TO THE VICTORS! Michigan is also academically superior to Notre Dame, as we all of Michigan's graduate schools are ranked in the top ten and undergraduate programs like business and engineering are ranked in the top 5.
