A southern Is when, after initially falling asleep, one wakes and has an hour or three of productive work before returning to bed to finish their sleep.
Remy fell asleep at 9pm, but around 10:30pm he had a Southern—he ran a mile on the treadmill, and went back to bed around midnight after a snack.
Anything pertaining to the American South. (Includes things such as fried chicken, sweet tea, and anything with a confederate flag.)
A person who is described as southern is usually polite, courteous, respectful, moral, opinionated, determined, confident, witty, and likes to laugh and have a good time. They are usually born and raised in the American South.
X: "How was your night, man?"
Y: "It was really good. I went and saw Avatar with my girl."
X: "Nice, how was it?"
Y: "The plot kinda stunk, but the effects were really southern."
X: "I respect that."

2) A person that lives in the South. Most of them are friendly, good-humored, and overall: AWESOME! Southerners, being a general term, know the difference between a good ol' boy,a redneck, a hillbilly, and po' white trash. YES, PEOPLE! THERE ARE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THEM!
