t = Taxi and most of them qualify as Public Service Vehicles. In
the north of Ireland they are regulated by Road Transport Licensing Division of DVLNI (Department of Vehicle Licencing Northern Ireland)and DOE (Department of Environment.
Qualifications for being a t driver include -
1. Must be over 18 years of age
2. Must hold a full driving licence
3. Must be a reptutable person
4. Must be medically fit
The
taxi driver's taxi must pass a
PSV Inspection Test.
I occasionally use
a t to travel to and from
Belfast. A new friend, who lives in Belfast
uses a t to travel in the opposite direction and return to her
home in Belfast.
