Something that rich, white, private-school educated college applicants complain about when they are rejected from a top school over a person with a lower ACT/SAT score, GPA,
AP classes, etc.
Students who complain about yield protection don't deserve to be admitted into the specific college in the first place. They are
sore losers, and don't realize that "
daddy's money" can't get them everything.
"I have a 3.8
GPA, took only one
AP class and I got into
NYU!"
"Wow, good for you. I was rejected from NYU. It was definitely yield protection."
