Band Nerd
The ideal Band kid. More devoted to band than a band geek, and less annoying than a band dork. The arch enemy of choir dweebs
A put-down insult used by the untalented people who cannot play instruments intended to somehow "lessen the glory" of the talented, skilled people, but the put-down somehow fails to work every time, contrary to "orch-dorks", a put-down aimed at orchestra people which works every time.
I have to go practice the marimba, chimes, timpani, xylophone, triangle, tabourine, and gong!!!!!! TO THE BAND HALL!!!! dundundundunduuuuuun! (Band Nerd Alert!)

Band Nerd
Someone who is obsessed with band (and wants everyone to know it). A band nerd is usually obnoxious about being in band. They have nothing else going on in their life. Don’t confuse this with someone who tries hard in band or a regular member of a school band.
Band nerds are kiddos who play in band, and more commonly are in marching band. They literally live in the band room; they ARE the band. Band nerd is seen to others as an insult, but is actually quite affectionate.
"Hey Jessie, how was your weekend?"
"Oh! It was great. I didn't have any free time since there was a competition on Saturday, and I practiced even though we wouldn't be using the music anymore. Speaking of practice, band is in 2 hours, I can't be late. Bye Lina!"

"Jesus, Jessie is SUCH a band nerd..."

Band Nerd
Someone who loves band... Usually has friends in band but they most likley play the same instrument as them. Band Nerds usually are in school band or small ensembles However, their is a HUGE difference between Band Geeks and Band Nerds, Band Nerd is usually an insult...
a person with no school activities other than band. A person who talks obsessively about the band and the directors. Usually wears fog dog musicwear shirts and makes odd noises saying it is music. They like to congegate in groups and talk about band. They are usually never alone out of fear of rejection and never wonder far from the band hall they also are very nasty closet freaks in large numbers on the band bus where crazy things happen.
