When somebody experiences "attraction" to the opposite gender because that
expectation has been pushed on them by the
patriarchal society, this is quite often experienced by lesbians. It is quite difficult to
distinguish between your own feelings and those which you are expected to feel.
I don't know if I am really attracted
to Harry Styles or it is just
compulsory heterosexuality because I do think I am a lesbian.
