A somewhat spicy smoked sausage, usually made of pork and beef. A half-smoke is spicier and slightly larger than a hot dog (frankfurter, weiner) and usually is eaten in a hot dog bun. Found in and around Washington, DC.
A sexual act in which the penis is placed externally between the cheeks of the rear-end. This is akin to "doggy style dry humping" and is often an option when the vagina is temporarily inaccessible. Named after the Washington, DC, treat, most famous from Ben's Chili Bowl on U Street, because the act could be described as resembling a half-smoked placed on a bun.
The flavorful result of a sausage and hot dog marriage.
Basicially, a "slightly spicy" to "flaming hot" sausage made of beef and pork. It is analogus to the Hillshire Farm® brand Link Sausages. The sizes can vary from "long Polish" to hot dog size.
Half-smokes are a phenomenon known locally to the Washington Metro Region, (DC, MD, VA).
I agree with another definition:
I also know half-smokes as "somewhat spicy smoked sausage(s), usually made of pork and beef." But, I know them as very small about half the size of a normal breakfast link, (which would make it a horrible nickname).
