When you're at a gas station and a man who is absolutely blanked out tells you about the infamous hotdog man who terrorizes the bathrooms east of the Mississippi. He may kill you and then shit of your corpse leaving you in the local gas station bathroom.
The poor man's hotdog is a term used when one has ran out of hotdog buns and does not have the funds to purchase more so you eat it with bread instead.
