A game series marketed initially by Sierra On-Line and is now owned by
Vivendi Universal, originally made during the 1980s and early 1990s that was really cool until the fifth installment, when it just became damn near impossible to solve without a strategy guide. They attempted to re-market Kings Quest 7 for preteen girls, but it wound up being played primarily by 19-year-old boys who thought Princess
Rosella was hot, or had a "
cougar crush" on Queen Valanice - who is now believed to be directly responsible for the Ashton Kutcher-Demi Moore inspired era of young men dating middle-aged women.
King's Quest was
really cool in the '80s when I was
growing up, but by the end of the '90s they
destroyed it.
