Something which transcends the limitation of the human mind or body. Recently, it has come to describe a growing movement of people who believe we are in the verge of growing beyond our limited human forms and consciousness. They often consider the development of transhuman technology a leap forward on par with the plow in completely transforming how human's live.

Alternative Transhumanism, also Alt-Transhumanism or Alt-H+, is a term, often pejorative, to refer to ideologies, philosophies and ideas that are considered as transhumanism but they aren't part of classical transhumanism or make opposition to classical transhumanism, that doesn't advocate the classical transhumanist ideas of mixing with machines and AI and nor even to become classical cyborgs, androids and machines.
