(noun) The part of the "left" that is anti-feminist, anti-intersectionality, transphobic, homophobic, Islamophobic and antisemitic, believes in conspiracy theories about the Frankfurt School, and calls the rest of the left SJW cucks. In short, they are the alt-right wearing anarchist and communist clothing, for reasons known only to them.
2. (adjective) Characteristic of the alt-left.

1) People, who ban other's freedom of speech, because they feel "uncomfortable" hearing different opinions.
2) People, who physically assault other individuals, and damage both public and private property in the name of "peace" and "love".
3) People, who care more about their selfish desires and arrogant views than about the country they live in.

Anybody who doesn't like Nazis, apparently.

Something that doesn't exist. There is no such thing as the "alt-left"

A term you use to describe an non existent group of violent people when you're a racist but also POTUS the alt-right did commit a crime against humanity and you need to find a BS excuse not to condemn the nazis actions.

"Alt" is German for "old". Alt-left is Old Left, in the form it existed before 1990. Alt-left supporters do not want identity politics, SJW or other modern stupidity. Alt-left supporters want Communist revolutions and Five-year Plans, they remember that class struggle is about class as it exists in political economy, not some kind of "gender" and other imaginary constructs.

The political leaning of someone who wants to deconstruct Western society as they believe it to be oppressive to those who are not straight, white or men. Another main belief of an Alt-Leftist is that Critical Race Theory is a world view that is essential to everything, ignoring the fact that their qualms are from centuries ago but implemented it in a way that seems vengeful, appealing to past injustices that have already been dealt with. Another identifier is the usage of the 'Oppression Olympics', a system in which people are judged by their "privilege" with those who are judged to have most privileged to be at the bottom and those who have the least amount of privilege are at the top; Alt-Leftists use the Oppression Olympics to silence opposition and raise up supporters.

They are mostly hidden because their ideas can't be explained fully by the opposing sides as their motives are conflicting and their definitions are muddled out of malice. They also are very intrusive, Alt-Leftists like to invade all spaces possible and make them appeal to them which results in that space changing and driving out the people who originally resided there. Tactics Alt-Leftists use are quite various, typically it's public shaming and struggle sessions but other times it is threats of job loss and harassment. Rarely is it ever violence, as the Alt-Leftist is weak creature that relies on manipulating of others although city burning riots(see Mostly Peaceful Protests) have been seen.
