a trio of "super heros" who swim in their neighbor carl's pool. often seen with the mooninites. frylock the leader of the group, has laser eyes and levitates. he is also a large container of french fries. master shake, the rebel of the group, think he is a genious. he also is a large milk shake. and finally meatwad. meatwad is the funny one of the group. meat wad has the ability to turn in to a hot dog shape or an igloo shape. meatwad happens to be a giant wad of meat.

At one time the best show on Adult Swim, but ever since the movie has come out it has been going to downhill fast. Story involves three fast food characters, frylock, shake, and meatwad who were once detectives and solved mysteries, but later on the plots came from completely random events. Notable villains include mothmonsterman, MC Pee Pants, and the broodwitch.

Awesome show meant to be watched exclusively by those who are extremely high, for the following reasons:

The title. What the hell does "aqua teen" mean? The creators puff for sure

Loose, unrealistic plot lines suggest the show was never supposed to make sense to non-stoned minds

Consists of 3 main characters, Master Shake (the self-appointed leader of the Aqua Teens), Frylock (the smart one who actually does all the work) and Meatwad (the comic relief). Used to be detectives but quit their job because they weren't making a lot of money. Other characters include Carl, Dr. Weird and Steve.

They then ran with the joke, saying "The ATHF cancellation continues, with new episodes airing Sundays at midnight." So everyone can calm down now - Shake and the gang are here to stay.

The episode was never made, but the characters were pitched to Cartoon Network by their writer/creators Dave Willis and Matt Maiellaro and they got their own show.
