Gabrielle
Bonheur "Coco" Chanel (
August 19, 1883 – January 10, 1971)was a pioneering French fashion designer whose modernist philosophy, menswear-inspired fashions, and pursuit of expensive simplicity made her arguably the most important figure in the history of 20th-century fashion. Her history of providing comfort to the Nazis, probably providing access to her mouth and anus, just so she could continue to make money is largely forgotten by today's bubblegum heads. Or is deemed somehow forgivable while
French Resistance died trying to remove their invaders.
"Would you ever buy products from someone who provided
comfort to the
Nazis just for
profit?"
"Who did that?"
"Coco Chanel."
