I don't really care what you think, as long as it's about them. Pete's lyrics wipe the floor with any other modern bands I have heard. Stop with the arguments. Fall Out Boy are, have always been, and will continue to be a great band.

Originally the sidekick to Radioactive Man in the Radioactive Man comic series on the Simpsons. In the film version of Radioactive Man (starring Ranier Wolfcastle) Milhouse was cast in the role of Fallout Boy.

A band, not a "gay shitty ass emo band", a band. That's what some of you guys keep on posting that and we all get it, you don't like them, they may not be worthy of your time, but they do deserve your respect. And you go far enough by saying "all their fans are retarded emo faggots" when you don't even know who half of them are. Just because people like them, doesn't mean they're all "emo", "retarded" or "homosexual."

A band that everyone seems to think only has the fan base of young emo kids. BOLLOCKS! Fall Out Boy have had a huge fan base since wayyyyy before Sugar We're Goin Down got them into the charts. Just cos a load of kids jumped on the band-wagon doesn't mean that this is their target audience. And if some of these kids actually listened to their lyrics they'd realise they're not an emo band anyway

a band. if you like them fine, if you don't, fine. personally i don't and i've heard some songs, i'm not pulling that opinion out of my ass, like some of these retards. and they're not punk/emo. they are pop. most of the bashing retards wouldn't know emo if it stabbed them in the eye. emo is just another form of punk, not a bunch of pussies in girls' pants slitting they're wrists. i don't know what those tools are. and no need to be homophobic. you can express your hate for something without being a bigot. saying nothing but "gay", "fag", "queer" makes you look like a stupid, homophobic, asshole with no vocabulary, who therefore shouldn't be taken seriously. I've had to thumb down quite a few otherwise valid and funny defintions for being homophobic. not cool.

Fall Out Boy is commonly mistaken for an emo band, but in fact, they are not. They are mainstream/pop/punk, and are sometimes called emo because they look slightly emo.

I'm going to admit that I never heard of Fall Out Boy until I heard "Sugar We're Going Down" on MTV. I fell in love with the song and proceeded to go out and buy their CD NOT because they were on MTV, but because I liked the music and could care less whether or not TRL put it on the number one spot or no. Since then, I have learned all the lyrics to ALL of their songs, even -GASP- the songs before MTV stuck their big ass noses into good music and twisted it into a "trend" they know will get them a big ass pay check. MTV is not worthy to be called "Music Television" as it no longer plays any "good" music anymore.

Many of you will be shocked to hear that FOB is not emo. Just because Pete happens to wear skinny jeans and eyeliner doesn't mean he has to wear this stupid ass lable that butt-fuck MTV exec's put on him. Anybody who calls them "emo", I have a special message for you: Shut up you incoherent asshole. Maybe if you would actually think with the brain God gave you and not with your ass, you might actually find some good bands. Stop calling them emo when you don't even know what the fuck it means.

And for all of you saying that Patrick can't sing, GO FUCK YOURSELF WITH THE MIC YOU "TRY" TO SING INTO BECAUSE, EXCUSE ME, PATRICK IS THE ONE ON STAGE SINGING AND YOU, MY FRIEND, ARE NOT.

I for one listen to Fall Out Boy because of the music and if Pete and Patrick just so happen to be attractive its a extra bonus. So shut the fuck up and if you don't like FOB, that's your business, not mine, but don't fill someone else's ears with your half-assed "rants" because, believe it or not, THEY might actaully listen to the music and not what these asshole magazines say about them or some fat ass music critic whose whole life has been dedicated to sitting around on his blubbery ass watching MTV and listening to whatever radio station he listens to.

Here's an actual defenition, not JUST an opinion

A band from chicago formed around 2001. It consists of pete Wentz, Patrick Stump, Andrew Hurley, Joe Trohman. They are not I REAPEAT NOT, and emo band(see the get up kids for some). If anything someone could call them Pop-punk. In my opinion a very good band who's fans actually go deeper than what most of you think. Fall Out Boy did exist before they were on TRL, therefore their fans existed before TRL and thefore do not consist only of 13 year old girls who love guys in gril pants.

Catchy guitar riffs and unique vocals make their music better than anything you and your crappy yamaha bass could put out.

an amazing band that could be concidered "pop punk." This band consists of pete wentz, joe trohman, andy hurley and patrick stump. many people criticize this band and call them "posers" and "sellouts" which is totaly stupid concidering the fact that most of these people have only heard the songs that are concidered their "popular hits" such as "sugar we're goin down" and "dance dance." The band probably didnt expect these songs to get popular and its not their fault that mtv and trl decided to make them the "next big trend." this band is more than a trend and it always has been. Im not saying that every1 should like them, because its impossible to please every1. but i think fall out boy deserves more credit to their music, not just the "popular" stuff but some of their older music that is overlooked by the kids who are truly only listining to them because the are popular, or the kids who hate them because they've been on trl and get played on the radio.
