Define Hypocrisy Meaning

Douchebag A: Hey man, I don't appreciate how you've been walking around this party spouting smarmy self-serving platitudes at all the ladies, directly competing with my similar attempts.

Douchebag B: "Hey bro, you're just making a scene at me so you can seem like a white knight, and distract from your own ridiculous behavior, which of course I would never have anything to do with, as reinforced to everyone else in the room by the intensity of my indignant response."

If one were to be truly honest with oneself, one would realize that he/she falls into hypocrisy. For example, almost everyone preaches that we should love everyone, but few practice that.

Judas was a hypocrite that sold out Jesus even though he got so much from him. He just wanted money. The government sells people to corporations because of hypocrisy of people at the top.

A politician is basically a bureaucrat in a sense. Hypocrisy can be evident because of bureaucratic structures, such as the fact that bureaucrats are mindless people who only follow orders. And George W Bush is widely considered a hypocrite because of the liberal elite.......well whatever. We're all hypocrites. Got it?"

Recently George W. Bush admitted on tape that he smoked marijuana. The silence from the right is deafing, but several years ago when Clinton admitted that he smoked but didn't inhale the right nearly crucified him.

Hypocrisy is when people become ironic.
