Kpoppie
A bunch of people who just exist to hate on others. Cannot take facts and spread lies so they can damage other people’s reputations. Cannot take a different opinion other than theirs and most likely would reply with a fancam during civilized debates. Will do anything in their power to defame, play down and hate on the most popular boy group in the world, BTS. Picks fights regularly with ARMY, the incredibly dedicated fandom of BTS. Talk shit about BTS and ARMY but when called out they bring out the victim card.

Example 1
ARMY: yay bts won their daesang fairly in 2016!

Kpoppie : show receipts *random fancam*
ARMY: shows receipts

Kpoppie : I’m gonna ignore that and run with my lie *random fancam*

Example 2
Kpoppie : BTS and their fans suck
ARMY: at least our faves love us
Kpoppie: oh my god y’all are ganging up on me and bullying me lemme call my other kpoppies and make a victim tweet to get it to 13k likes

Kpoppie
A kpop fan who credits mainly 2nd generation groups and not 3rd generations groups. They overlook and belittle the achievements that new groups have brought to the genre in modern times but highly praise groups from the past.

Kpop fan: congratulations to (insert group name)for this achievement! They deserve it!

Kpoppie: (2nd generation group name) they did it first. How delusional can you be?

Kpoppie
Can be used by any kpop fandom to refer to toxic fans from different kpop fandoms that are hating purely because a group is successful. However, it’s used specifically a lot by ARMY to refer to kpop fans of other groups who like to belittle BTS’s achievements and credit the rise of kpop to second gen groups such as girls generation, when we all know that the Korean wave would not have spread nearly as much as it did if it wasn’t for BTS.

Army: BTS paved the way for kpop in the global market.
Kpoppie: No, it was actually 2nd gen groups like SNSD and SHINee who paved the way.
Army: okay but it just wasn’t though, look at the facts and figures and wake up. Your fav was successful but you don’t have to straight up lie to try and prove that ffs.

Kpoppie
A Kpoppie is a term used in the K-Pop community to describe a K-Pop fan who’s only been listening to the genre for a couple of months, but already acts like they know everything about it, even though it’s painfully clear that they do not.

Kpoppies tend to be BTS and/or BLACKPINK stans as these are the two groups representing K-Pop to the West and are the most popular K-Pop groups by far. They treat these two groups as God’s gift to humanity and trash pretty much any other group/artists that came before and after them, even if said groups/artists are K-Pop veterans, e.g. SHINee and Girls’ Generation.

Kpoppies are irritating and condescending, as they believe they are a know-it-all when it comes to K-Pop (which, as I’ve already established, is FAR from the truth). They are usually found on K-Pop Stan Twitter.

A: “I’m so proud of BTS for being the first K-Pop act ever to break into America!”
B: “Ugh, I know right? They really paved the way.”
C: “So who’s gonna tell these kpoppies that Wonder Girls, 2NE1 and Girls’ Generation got in there first?”
