Wanting so desperately for the lead actress of a drama to end up with the better guy, but you always know that she is going to end up with the lead bad guy in the end. Usually goes with the feelings of either wanting to curl up and cry over your ramen, knock someone's teeth in or both.

Me: In the drama "You're Beautiful" park shin-hye should end up with jung yong-hwa instead of jang keun-suk. Friend: Oh you definitely have second lead syndrome

Second Lead Syndrome is the closet thing to death that isn't. Second Lead Syndrome is when you are casually watching your Kdrama and you starts to ship the female lead with the second male lead. Or when you start to fall for the second male lead.

This feeling is horrible because you shouldn't be rooting for the second lead in this love triangle but you are, it's like an identity crisis.

"So I was watching my Kdrama last night and started getting second lead syndrome"
"You what?!"
"No cap. It's horrible but I can't stop."

Second Lead Syndrome is when a viewer of a romance drama or anime starts falling for the second lead. In some occasions the viewer may also want the second lead to end up with the main lead.

Aeona is talking to her friend Alex,
“I am watching this drama which has this love triangle, and I thought that I would be 100% team Kim Tan but I am starting to realise how good of a guy Young-do is. A very small part of me kinda wants him to be with Eun-sang too...”
Alex then replies,
“Oh Aeona, you have second lead syndrome!”
“What is second lead syndrome?”
“It’s where a viewer starts really liking the second lead and maybe even wanting them to be with the main character”

A disorder which causes lead guitarist heads to swell to an unimaginable size, with a strange substance known as ego. Resulting in him gaining an inability to hear any other instrument in the band, causing a more frequent supply of solo's, shredding, too much treble, too much distortion, also his guitar always being a little louder than everyone else, and eventually being asked to leave as he does your head in.

Also this disorder is incurable. Get some reverb you gimps.

When a male or female lead in a musical, play, or any type of production, falls for the other, and begin taking their in-state romance to their personal lives.

"Oh man, I just got the lead for the musical! You'll never guess who got the female lead! That cute girl from English class. Maybe I'll have a shot if she catches a bad case of lead syndrome"
