Define The 42 Meaning

42 42
An expression used, usually in text messaging language to represent one laughing or that something was funny.

Originally derived from the mobile telephone keypad at which "Ha ha" would be 42 42.

Has become increasingly popular in speech with people using it as an adjective. Instead of laughing, to show that something is funny, one would say "forty two". Refer to example below.

Text message:

Person A) "I saw someone tip a cow."
Person B) "Really?! 42 42"

Speech:

- "He pulled a prank on his brother that made him pee his pants."
- "That's forty two."

The answer to the Ultimate question of Life, the Universe and Everything. Unfortunately, according to some theories as well as from a highly credibly source (A man named Prak) that had been mentioned in the Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy, it is physically impossible to simultaneously be aware of the answer and the question of life, and if this ever occured the universe would simply vanish and and something even more inexplicable and bizarre would take it's place.

Because if you add all the sides of a dice it equals 21, which is also half of 42. So 2 die go into 42, die being the plural of dice; Therefore the meaning of life equals 42 and 42 equals 2 die or 'to die'.

A sexual term. The 42 has been performed when a female gives a male oral pleasure. It ends with the male ejaculating all over the female's clothing, resulting in a large stain. This move was made famous by the 42nd President of the USA.

Kristen had to take her new blouse to the cleaners yesterday. It had a massive cum stain on it after we performed The 42 in her dad's Winnebago. It all started with me giving her the Pirate Eye which resulted in a Clown Tear as it oozed down her face. It all ended with The 42 as it puddled on her blouse.

The ultimate answer to life in the book "The Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy". Unfortunately, no one knows the question. At least, thats what they think. At the end of the final book, "Mostly Harmless", Arthur has been trying to find the planet "Stavromula Beta", which he must go to before he dies. However, it turns out that this place is actually a small club in London. He ends up travelling there, where he is nearly killed by his daughter, the earth is destroyed utterly, and the hitchhikers guide itself is also destroyed from existence. it is pointed out as he pulls into the parking lot for the club that the adress is NUMBER 42. there is still no question here, but there very well may be some kind of meaning.

So now everything is cleared up. sort of. 42.
