well-rounded". Wonderful if your last name is
Rockefeller. Hard to justify if your poor mother is
scrubbing floors to put you through college.
Breadth requirements are things such as Physics majors being required to take classes in
Medieval Literature, or Art majors being required to take
Calculus.
