A team that so far has decided to trust in
the rabbit and not the
turtle. No matter what kind of hype the media generates about
the Super Bowl early, the team has blown itself out early before too, usually by about halfway through the season. A good start can quickly become a disaster, and injuries might have already cost the team one player for the rest of the season.
The turtle might not be as exciting or seem as special as
the rabbit, since a lot of people notice things like speed, but they also notice the weaknesses that go with it when something goes wrong, and that is what the Carolina Panthers are headed for again if they put too much
overconfidence in thinking like rabbits instead of looking at the whole season ahead, the whole picture before them. A league will
show no mercy to a team that starts 3-0 and ends or 4-12, or 5-13, and there are plenty of people that want them to become fools, the laughing stock of the league. People that are not friendly to the club or its supporters.
