Define Freethought Meaning

Freethought
A secular intellectual and cultural movement that extends back to the writings of the founding fathers of America, the philosophers of the French and German Enlightenment, and secular populists of the 19th century. The movement opposes old-fashioned dogmatic religion, but favors freedom of religion and freedom of thought.

The freethought movement has already had a significant influence, but its continuing importance is reinforced by modern religious extremism.

John Locke and Daniel Defoe were early freethinkers.

George W. Bush, Ossama B. and Stalin are all antitheses of the freethought movement.

Freethought Blogs
A bunch of whiny attention whores. They claim to do all sorts of great things for the atheist movement, yet all they do is bitch and moan about supposed misogyny that doesn't exist. They manufacture controversies just so they can get more traffic and earn more ad revenue. If anyone dares to call the site out on their bullshit, the writers will send their moronic fans after them to bully them into silence. See Justin Vacula for an example of this bullying.

Freethought Blogs? You actually like that site? It's full of the biggest idiots in the entire atheist community!

Freethought Fanaticism
Freethought Fanaticism, also Freethought Fundamentalism, is a view that considers freethought as a form of atheist fanaticism and scientific fanaticism where it's all based on materialism, positivism and physicalism and in practice is no far different from atheist fanaticism and scientific fanaticism. Furthermore, critics of freethought fanaticism believe it's possible to have other forms of freethought, such as religious freethought, spiritual freethought, esoteric freethought and even extraphysical freethought and not just classical freethought that eventually leads into freethought fanaticism.

"The theory of freethought fanaticism is good, it shows how freethought can also be extremely fanatical and how it would be possible to avoid freethought to become fanatical, that's the why we always need to be pragmatic about the question of physicalism and extraphysicalism to enable to create a true freethought and open the possibilities of people having freethought that is friendly with religion, spirituality, occultism, esoterics and extraphysics. And do not be rationalizations of the dominant ideology and of capitalism as a whole."
