Heart On Sleeve
To not guard your heart, your true feelings and desires. Your heart is now on your sleeve where anybody or anything can bump into it and break it. Wearing your heart on your sleeve is not to be confused with genuineness or openness. It is a condition of weakness. (See Iago in Shakespeare)
A "He took his new plan to spend more money into the Board meeting with his heart onsleeve." heart on his sleeve
B "How did the Board like that?"
A "They shot him down. He should have expected the Board not to want to spend any money."
