You would almost think there would be no parades any more, not because of
the virus, but because someone would call a
parade racist like they did with the statues for not being
politically correct enough. No crowd, black, white, yellow, brown (and a red indian or two) would gather, people would just remain divided if there was no parade to go to.
Indians don't have a parade on thanksgiving, so should the rest of us put an end to the parades? Would that somehow right all the
wrongs that have been done in this country? If there really was a better way to treat each other, wouldn't people have thought of it and done it before now?
What good has hope ever done anybody? Hope is for (and by) the hopeless. Wishing is for what someone hasn't made happen, it's easier to wish for something that isn't likely to happen to happen than it is to go ahead and just
make it happen, to get it over with.
