Define Woke Meaning

Deluded or fake awareness.

The act of being very pretentious about how much you care about a social issue

"Wokeness" occurs when a white, upper-class person pretends to hold opinions they imagine a black lower-class person might hold. The word itself is an incorrect tense of "awake" - referring to the perception that the black working class have a poor grasp of grammar.
The opinions that are simulated typically stem from a misunderstanding of the tendency for black working-class people to be slightly more economically left-wing and socially conservative than average - instead they are imagined to be socially left-wing, and often logically inconsistent.

Today there is a new definition of "woke". You might have woke your dog up when you opened that bag of chips, but he is not "woke" as it applies today. To be "woke" means you're now informed of things you did not know. You are not "in the dark" about other societies and cultures whose past has been edited and censored to make you think it wasn't as bad as it actually was.

How Norman "Nick" and Shea view themselves due to their "extensive" knowledge on drugs. These self proclaimed "drug experts" know all the effects and background of every drug. With their "expertise" on drugs, they constantly try to push the narrative that most of these drugs aren't even bad. The reality of the situation is that they've seen some random fuckass bullshit on reddit or seen some tard pro-drug documentary. Usually Norman "Nick" will start spitting some bullshit on drugs with Shea following him and backing whatever bullshit comes out of Norman "Nick"'s mouth. Neither of these dudes are even close to "woke" but for some reason they keeping wanting to believe that they are on a complete different universe just because they "know so much" about drugs.
