The students taking the class, who are very smart students, have a hard time getting good grades and are ecstatic to receive a C or even a D. Usually directed by a psychotic teacher who expects you to write at a college level. It can also be known as hell on earth. Most students struggle to get a B, but pass the final exam with 90s and 100s. Side effects include but are not limited to, having no free time, no social life, insomnia, insanity, mind explosions, jumping off cliffs and mental breakdowns.

The one class where you'll read so many books, poems, and dramas that your eyes will rot out of your head due to exhaustion. The teacher will drown you with more homework than you've received your whole high school career and tell you to have it done by tomorrow, only to give you an "F" because you couldn't do the assignment correctly. This class is often associated with the words; suicide, sleep-deprived, Britney Spears meltdown, and sometimes fatality.

AP English is simply a front, it is not difficult only time consuming, designed to direct young dumb seniors into a more difficult class lacking composition, all is simply boring, repetitive, mindless grammar.

Synonym for gay. Only gay people take AP english, and therefore, AP english can be swapped out for the word "gay." It is a 100% known fact that if you take the class known as AP english, you are homosexual. Just saying.
