Six String
An electric guitar. It generally only applies to six strings and not bass guitars or seven strings, etc.

Bob: Hey Ted are you going to our gig tonight?
Ted: Yeah, sounds like fun.
Bob: Great, bring your six string and we'll have fun afterwards.
