Usually referred to during poker, to "pull a Venkat" is to make a serious serious error. I.e.
Folding when one has
a royal flush without realising it.
One can also pull a Venkat in all aspects of life when one has made a serious or embarrassing error. E.g. when falling over,
making a fool of yourself etc...
