Heat Up
A slang term mostly used by stoners or those breaking the law in anyway. Means someone, something, or some event that draws unwanted attention to said people breaking the law, most usually authoritative attention.

Guy1:Last night my boy was mad close to getting arrested.

Guy2: What happened?

Guy1: He was driving at night with his sunglasses on cause he was stoned out of his mind and a cop saw him and pulled him over, luckily the cop didn't search him, cause he had an ounce on him.

Guy2: Damn what a heat up.

Usually used in a positive manner, but can also be used to make fun of people about an embarrassing hook up.

A synonym for "hook up".

Also called heating up.

Also used to describe ridiculous over-the-top dance moves between two people.

"Adrianne and Aaron were definitely heating up last night, I'm texting her immediately to find out what happened."

A rule in beer pong which states that if a player makes three cups in a row without missing, he/she may continue shooting on his/her turn until he/she misses. Although house rules vary, the player may have to call when he/she is heating up. Upon successfully making two cups, the player would have to call "Heating up," and after the third consecutive cup, the player would have to call, "On fire."
