a high level drinking/drug game, commonly played by college students. first you take a hit off of a bong, then you chug a can of beer without exhaling, then after drinking the beer you exhale the smoke out of your nose and crunch the can on your forehead.

The cards that have been turned over are then replaced with face down cards from the deck and they must start again. The gauntlet is only completed when a player makes a clean run i.e. goes through all rows without picking a face card.

Gauntlet was originally an arcade game made in the early 80's. It was one of the first "top-down" view role playing games, in which you could control one of four types of player classes. The objective of the game was to find keys and kill enemies and proceed to new rooms. Has seen many incarnations on various systems over time.
