Define Tin Soldier Meaning

A Soldier without a metaphorical Heart; a goon. Origins in the Wizard of Oz character of the same name tied with the reality of the shooting of unarmed college students by the Ohio National Guard during the Kent State shootings; Coined in this alloy by Neil Young in the song 'Ohio:'

2. An expendable, generic, (everyday, run of the mill) mass produced/trained soldier.

3. A durogative name for a soldier who is generic, mass produced and will say yes to any order given. Even if its suicidal, morally wrong, or will lead to the ultimate sacrifice being made.

(I.e. if the soldier is ordered to murder an entire innocent village to set an example, the tin soldier will do it without question.)

This is a reference to the PS1 game Spyro the dragon. The tin soldier being an enemy that appears in one area where the player is provided with a special power up that strengthens their fire attack to be able to take it down
