A term used to describe a
lackadaisical attitude and
substandard level of contribution toward a group-based project. Commonly associated with a general lack of personal
accountability, exhibited by making excuses and/or blaming others for not accomplishing one's assigned task(s).
Student 1: "I've got this huge
senior project to do, but I'm
just not into it. Plus, between playing videos and drinking I don't know how I'm going to
finish it."
Student 2: "Do you have to do it by yourself?"
Student 1: "No, I'm in a group with three other people."
Student 2: "You should totally Zak it."
