a word that only an (american) Indian can understand. things we do are "indigenous" because they are down-to-earth and natural with our culture. silence, meditating, being one with nature, listening to our surroundings.

basically having the traits that an Indian would have, but being pridefull when doing them. doing natural, native things, either out of curiousity or to represent our Native history. the epitomy of being "down-2-earth" or others may say "down-ass"

similar to the N word, you must be Indian to fully understand the word Indigenous or use it in the proper context.

"the painting of the man laying with the wolf is very Indigenous"

"its a good day to be Indigenous on the reservation"

"our Native Pride shows how Indigenous we are"

"when the chief was crying, he was expressing his indigenous self"

People with indigo skin and dreadlocks, sometimes called avatars. Calling them avatars makes it okay to take all their resources and still say they like you, since people do it in movies, since some people seem to want their true tribal names forgotten or extinct. All groups/shades participate in genocide, and hypocrites come in all shades (even darker shades).

Calling people indigenous makes them sound like a different group/race, instead of part of one human race. You really got one human race, and within the human race are two kinds of people, you got the ones that realize they've always been assholes, and you got the ones that are never gonna get how it's not everyone else who is the asshole, or how they deserve to suffer as much as everybody else does.

Some examples of behavioral qualifications for IB's include:

1. Cutting in line shamelessly.

2. Staring.

3. Talking loudly in Spanish in front of what she thinks is a non Spanish speaker.

IB's are not to be trusted.

A person who has native American (usually from central America) and African ancestry. Many people think that everyone in countries like Mexico and El Salvador is a Mestizo. That is not the case. There were about as many Spanish people as there were Africans in countries like Mexico. At one point the spanish brought about 300 Africans to Mexico, there were about 300 Spanish conquistadors there as well. The Africans had the right to pik their mate, if they mated with a native, their child was born free.Some people in Mexico (the really dark skinned ones) arent Mestizos, they are probably afro-Mestizos.

White guy: Youre Mexican!? you kinda look black dude, your nose is wide, your lips are like Jay z's, you have curly hair but youre short..
Afro indigenous dude: Yeah, my great grandfather was black, he was brought to the Americas as a slave by the Spanish and he mated with a native.
