Wdw is an abbreviation for the band Why Don’t We. It consists of band members Corbyn Besson, Daniel Seavey, Jonah Marias, Zach Herron and Jack Avery. They started in September 27, 2016 and have amassed a huge social media following. They have released multiple EPs and albums such as Invitation album and 8 Letters album.

Similar to the above, but should be noted that it is most often used in IM sessions for shorthand expressing disregard for a previous statement, or malcontent for the others actions or neglect.
This has also been ported over to speech, where you can say the laters as written, or more easily expressed by saying "Dub d dub".

Wdw is short for “Why Don’t We”. Why don’t we is a boy band founded by the five boys Jonah Marais Roth Frantzich (20), Corbyn Matthew Besson (19), Daniel James Seavey (19), Jack Robert Avery (19) and Zach(-ary) Dean Herron (17). They founded the band on the 27th September 2016 and already went on 3 Tours (Taking You Tour (2016), Something Different Tour (2017) and Invitation Tour (2018, there first Tour out of the Us). When people ask them why they are called Wdw Jack usually answers “...so when the idea of forming a band was brought up we were like “Why Don’t We”.
