Backpackers and those with limited budget should aim for Kuta beach on their top list. There are lots of cheap place there, but it's really crowded. Broad choices of accomodation, from a hut to
5 stars palace.
Those who're more extravagant can choose Nusa Dua or Kuta with plenty of 5 stars hotels, ressorts, and cottages.. ur choice!
Shimering night life.. around tourist centre... lots of bars, pubs, karaoke, anything u can think of , even probably guys' paradise, if u know where to go.
It's really awesome to spend couple weeks there esp. if u know local people (like ME...) and able to speak Indonesian (trust me.. it's very easy compare to English) coz. you'll get lots of bargain. O yeah... did I mention about lots of handicraft, statue, all exquisite pieces you can think of... sure you'll get
something for everyone on ur list (bring a large luggage, would ya,LOL)
