In the TCG community , a Garnet refers to s an unplayable card that's in your hand. The term comes from the Yugioh! card "Gem-Knight Garnet" which was played so often with another card called "Brillant Fusion' that opening it was nothing short of a brick.
Friend: "How did your games go?"

Garnet is a character from the Cartoon Network show Steven Universe written by Cartoon Network's first female producer Rebecca Sugar. Garnet is the current leader of the Crystal Gems, a group that rebelled against Homeworld and the Diamonds. Garnet is a fusion of two gems: A ruby and a sapphire. Garnet can see into the future because of sapphire's future vision ability and is incredibly strong because of ruby. Garnet is the embodiment of ruby and sapphire's love for each other.

Garnet is a fusion,sapphire was threatened but her deadly fate, A ruby rushed into her to catch her/protect her,then they fused.After she fused she had a lot of questions,people were saying naive things so sapphire and ruby unfused and ran away
Garnets are beautiful people. She is a loud, funny person who is awesome. She is a stunner and will be with you always and forever. If you need advice go to her whenever. But don’t always take what she says to heart because she is a very jokey person. But if there is a Garnet in your life don’t mess her around because she will get you back. Keep her if you find her.
